Easy to be confused with a contradictory post!! I have amended the information accordingly. Thanks.

Indeed, it is where side pipes would normally be if I hade them and if they were live. The battery just fits with no compromise to the passenger's leg room and no change to the inner wheel well. I'll dig up a photo or take another.
