On a serious note: have you decided on Kit yet? Did you settle on a PACE or go with Harrison a kit? And whats your intended objective?
If you want cheap power an LS is hard to beat.
If you want "heritage" (whatever that means) then ford the obvious choice.
If you want to be different BMW v8 or Toyota's V8 make for a great engine.
