Now see what you've started Jasbel? (Or reignited probably --- this argument bubbles along just under the surface all the time.)

My 2 cents? If I were in the happy situation where I could start from scratch I'd be straight over to Absolute Pace and put in my order with a few special mods to accommodate my height, then I'd be on the phone quicksmart to Holmart to grab one of their bargain priced LSA motors before they all go -- I really cannot imagine a more perfectly suited motor for a Cobra on the market in Aus today that meets all the compliancing parameters and yet delivers just north of 500 civilised horsepower -- and then up to Warwick to talk to Chris Hatfield at Mal Woods' shop about some sort of sequential box, failing that a prepped TKO 600. Seeing I'm an acknowledged disaster with spanner in hand I'd be calling upon the long-proven talents of Scott Hampson at Venom to bring my whole dream to life.

If I were younger I'd be going for a high comp stroked small block with something like Stack or Kinsler injection and around 600 hp of cantankerous nastiness but those days are behind me now, and I reckon the combo I've described above would be a superb street car with more than enough grin-factor, while at the same time being something that would start first time every time and be capable of heading off interstate with no worries about reliability. Also, being an Absolute Pace, it goes without saying that it would look totally imposing and magnificent.
