As a thought for those who are more adventurous, the loop trip from Vancouver to Whistler, then continuing up Hwy 99 through Pemberton then to Lillooet is SPECTACULAR, makes the Vancouver/Whistler section look like... i dunno, Kansas?  Then, you take Hwy 12 to Litton where it connects up with Hwy 1 which winds down the Fraser River Canyon back to the Vancouver area, where you could take the Sumas border crossing and miss all the Vancouver traffic.
Just a thought, rather than just heading back to Washington the same way you went up...

Looks like the same return route AC Bill just posted on 2015 Whistler Run to the Mountain! (July10-12) - FFCars.com : Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum. Looks like some great scenery and roads.
