hi slowy, I have an 18" brake, I have done 1.6mm stainless on it which was a push, 1.6mm aluminium is easy. You're welcome to borrow it.

You clamp it to the bench with G clamps, and another two clamps to hold it together. If 18" is wide enough for your panels, let me know.
