I especially appreciate all your comments, as I know how far your build has come.
I still have a lot to learn about the authenticity of these cars, information of the right quality is difficult to find, so it's steep learning curve for me and the 289 is rarer than the 427 so there isn't as much info out there that I know of, so I will keep digging.
I have emailed Cobra restorers, but have not had a reply as yet, so I don't even know if they have the parts. Their web pages don't show what some of the individual parts are and I can't find a parts page to identify exactly what I need either, so I'm a bit in the dark still, any help on this would be great.
Regarding brake calipers, I presume they are used on other vehicles are they british or US?
Apologies for my ignorance folks, british sportscars have dominated my interest since I were a lad.
