Just to support the vinyl option leather also shrinks and when buying per metre will naturally have more damage so you may need more to eliminate faults. And vinyl is cheaper by about $2K by my trimmer and with modern technology is hard to pick over leather these days.
I have just committed to an all vinyl interior set up and the trimmer also wraps the steering binnacle which in vinyl is also easier to manage.
