I don't want to get too far off the thread topic here. This is about the SPF leaf spring cars for sale.
And they are beautiful BTW! Having some experience with one in real life, I can tell you that from first hand experience!
But... the term "Slabside" was a term that came out of the replica world. On production leaf spring Cobra's, there's nothing flat (or "slab") about the flare. In fact, the only flat part I can find on an original car is where the brake light mounts on the body. The flare is flatter, yes but it's not flat. "Slabside" has become a widely understood term to describe the standard production leaf spring cars and their replicas (to varying degrees) but it's not really an accurate term.
Now race cars are a whole different world for names and descriptive terms. They are different and different from each other but they are still either a leaf spring Cobra (Cobra I) or coil spring Cobra 427 (Cobra II).
