Towerpoint Resort will be hosting a car show along with other activities on Feb 14. It will start at 11 AM and should run till 2 or 3 or whenever the food runs out. There will be no prizes, but the food will be free. The address is 4860 E. Main St Mesa. It is between Higley and Greenfield and the entrance is next to Sunny World Restaurant. The following is copied from Towerpoint news letter.

Valentines Day - a special day set aside to Celebrate Love. Well we are going to have lots of chances this year. Now this is Towerpoint and we never just choose the conventional way to do anything. So here is the deal. Love is about your heart right! And what better way to take care of your heart then a little exercise and a chance to give to a great cause. So Saturday February 14th starting at 7am we will begin the Great Valentines Day Walk or Ride (bicycle) A Thon. There will be people positioned on A and T street with Valentine Heart Chips that you can collect as you walk or ride laps around the Resort. Walk or Ride as often as you like until 5pm and collect the coins. Turn them in at the Activity Office and we will log in the number of miles you walked or rode. The outside ring of the Resort is approx. 1.25 miles. Our goal for the whole Resort that day is 2000 miles. When you turn your chips in you can also make a donation that we will collectively send to the American Heart Association to help in the battle against heart disease. How cool would it be to send to them $1 for every mile logged as a group. No need to sign up, just stop on the way around the Resort at the volunteers and grab a chip, that is your entry. Walk or Ride as much or as little as you want.

Then from 10:30am to 1:30pm Heart and Soul will be here for a Great Outdoor Concert. They were a featured band a couple of years ago at the Festival and are making a return visit, There is no charge for this concert. And at Two Thirty Kort Kurdi will be here in the Courtyard for a special two hour Line and Rock and Roll Dance just for us.

I live at TP for half the year and would love to see some more Cobras' at this event. I suggest we meet at Sunny World Restaurant at 10:45 and then proceed into TP as a group so we can park together. FREE FOOD and music, what more could you want.
