This forum seems to be the best place to get info on these tires, so here we go..

AVON CR6ZZ

1) While I would like to have a 235/60R15, Avon does not make it. I've read that the CR6ZZ's actual tire size is different than the specs given on the tech sheets. Of these 3 sizes, 225/60R15, 225/65R15, and 245/60R15, which is actually closest to a 235/60R15? These would be mounted on 15x8" wheels.

2) Does anyone know how heavy a 225 or 245 front tire, and a 295/50R15 rear CR6ZZ is?

GOODYEAR BLUE STREAK G7

1) How much more grip is there with a G7 over the Avon?

2) Anyone know how much faster the R655 compound is vs the FIRM compound and how much faster it wears out?


Please note, I'm asking about track specific tires. The Avon's seem nice as I could drive it too and from the track, while the Goodyears would have be trailered.
