Simon - dunno about the fuel sender. I knew about it before mounting. Worse case I'll just drop the tank and til it. Others, I can just use a magnet to pickup all the filings :-)

Gav, Craig - I'm advised the tunnel acts as a tailshaft loop itself with the flooring built in. But yes, apart from the fuel pumps and lines there, there's also only ~4mm of aluminium sheet between a wayward tailshaft and me! Simon was suggesting maybe adding a steel loop in there somewhere. But that would only make it even tighter!

So, do tailshafts let go often? I'm not planning on tracking this car, except the occasional gentlemans run at Shelbyfest.
