If that is the case then anytime any engine is rebuilt in Mass. reguardless of the original block date. MAC can use the assembly/rebuild date as the assembly date

. You might consider registering in N.H. or ME. via Cobra associates in those states. Mine is a antique w/no need of emission, inspection & total cost less than $80.00 per year

As a AC Cobra cost less than $8K in 65/66, that is what you would pay for sales tax! Remember M8 you are now in a group of Cobra addicts & we help each other when ever possible.!
