Forest Lane in Dallas Texas was one of the premier cruise spots in America in the 70's and 80's. Hot Rod magazine had it rated as the 3rd of 4th best places to cruise in America. I can't remember the exact ranking. The cops began patrolling and arresting people around 86 and had a no cruising law put into effect. Twice a year they have a reunion cruise. It brings out approximately 750-1000 cars. The cops even lets us flex our muscle cars up and down the strip west of Marsh lane. It you spin out leaving a parking lot or do something dangerously stupid they will pull you over. The North Texas Cobra guys usually meet at Cindi's Deli 3565 Forest ln before the parking gets to crazy. We usually bring our Cobras unless you have another cool hotrod in the garage.
