You could certainly do that. Any reason why you want the 302? Planning for a 289 Cobra build?

Here's a 425hp 347. It made 425 hp and 444 lb-ft of torque. Hydraulic roller, relatively inexpensive RHS heads, Weiand intake, etc.



This one is also a 347, but it's on the other end of the spectrum....CHI Cleveland heads, etc. It made 517 hp and 463 lb-ft.
