The type of bell housing you have will impact the input shaft length also. Example is Lakewood vs. Quick Time. I believe the Lakewood is shorter and either a shorter input shaft or spacer can be used. Talk with an expert Brent Lykins as mentioned or Mike Forte.
BTW- I'm curious what the rear end gears are in your cars, why the swap?
