The tyre shops won't use plugs for liability issues.
A mate of mine runs a tyre shop in Geelong.
He may help you or alternatively you can buy a plug kit from Repco and do it yourself.
I carry one of those kits in my cobra with a pump in case of a flat in the middle of nowhere.
