At least one of the front brakes was frozen solid, so we could not push the car out of the garage. The brake pedal went to the floor, so the brakes need work.
We changed the battery,
oil, fuel filter, condenser, points and spark plugs. We topped off the coolant and transmission fluid. We bypassed the 27 year old gas in the tank and hooked the fuel pump up to a gas can to run the engine.
All of the lights worked. The power steering worked. The transmission also worked.
Dan says that the car is solid and suggested that I ask for at least $7500 for it. Both Dan and Bill are encouraging me to buy the car out of the estate sale to keep it in the family...
