I am looking for thoughts, suggestions, recomendations for a 1/2 inch drive cordless (18v +) inpact wrench/driver.

This will mainly be used for automotive which will then be sufficient for other duties around the home.

My current tools are either DeWalt or Bosch Blue and I have had no issues with these at all.
