Always. Raw aluminum on raw aluminum is real problem. The aluminum will gall (roll into little balls, chatter and generally get real ugly). The beveled surfaces of the spinners and wheels are raw and will bind & lock w/o anti-seize.

I put anti-seize on the steel threads of the hub adapter as well. Since starting to use anti-seize this I don't have a problem. Removing the wheels once in a while helps too.

And then a cheap plug for RT's Spinner Lube, it works.
