I have not yet visited with the Town Tax Assessor, but wanted to obtain background information should anyone have some input. Registered as a 2000 Composite Roadster ( CT VIN ) with standard registration plates. Vehicle was not viewed/inspected by the Tax Assessor in 2014 or 2015. Continous registration since 2000.
The tax value in 2014 was $1,130, the 2015 tax value is $22,750. I do not recall receiving any notice regarding the increased assessment.
Anyone else experience an increase for 2015 ?
Is there a CT State Tax Assessors standard for valuing Composite vehicles or does each Town Tax Assessor use their own standards ?
