I really don't want to do this again so i am going to take ALOT of time and do alot of research (including all the pearls of wisdom imparted here) before putting this thing back on the road.
Frustrating part is i got into this car for the supposed reliability of having an american engine, which to date has been exactly wrong: The wife is really getting a bit pissed off about my new $50k toy being broken and taking up the whole garage seemingly continuously..."Your M5 never broke like this..." (We have a two car garage)
