Having a EFI Fast fuel system the computer controls the time the electric pump is on when the key is turned on. It also allows the pump to run while starting and running. I also installed a toggle switch to turn the pump on or off. This switch overrides the computer and must be in the on position for the pump to run. Just a safety thing I feel is necessary.
