Sounds like a great project. We need more good build threads on this forum, so looking forward to following it.
I considered using the same Alfa speedometer on my FIA build but the way things fell, ended up with a Jaguar [5" Smiths] instead. The style of the Jaeger speedo and tacho will suit a 289 roadster nicely.
