rodneym When we ran the Run and Gun a safety thing was 3 springs on the linkage. You where allowed the one on the carb but 2 where needed on the linkage. Maybe you might want to look into this. Problems like this happen again over time. Down side is your right foot gets a little more workout. Gald you and the car where not damaged. Underwear is a washing thing or throwout.
