Yeah, it is really hard to tell on the "hand" photo about the triangle. I've studied it over and over again! Same with the catalog pics. Jim Maxwell is a Cobra tool expert. I should ask him about the triangle.
I've been playing around with an emblem too using the photo from the wood tool. It's somewhat faded though but here's what I've done so far:
