I just had a good look at the pics of the eBay listing and for what it's worth, here are my thoughts.

Leave the wheels, paint the centres in a black, grey or charcoal. Simpler and cheaper.

It does appear that you will not have the available room for pin drives, once you add the adapter and the wheels centre thickness, there will be bugger all room for any wheel dish and so forth.

Lower it by an inch, paint the centres and drive and enjoy it.

Good on you for the purchase, many talk about the dream , you will be living it.
