Were you able to sort this out? Surprised that someone that knows what they're talking about hasn't responded. Is it feasible that with the CR harness that there is no continuous power from the start switch as you go from run position to start position?
Oddly I was just looking at a similar thing for my electric fuel pump, but I'll be using a low
oil pressure switch where I need to run the power wire when the ignition switch is in run and the power wire when the ignition switch is in start so that either way the pump has power.
