The weather is beginning to change, our Granddaughter's birthday is this weekend, so we can only do a mid-week road trip next week.
I know some of us are retired and others may have flexibility in work schedules, so I hope a few can make this trip.
We are going to Mineral Point, WISC. next Wed. Oct. 14, if the weather holds out. High 71 and sunny. Karlene and I went on a similar trip a few years ago and liked the roads. However, we do not have time to check out the route before we drive it.
How many can make it, please reply???
Meet at our house and leave our house at 9:30 AM. Driving time is 2.5 hours with one stop; this should make it 3 hours, arriving for lunch at 12:30.
The restaurant link is below. Brewery Creek is a Bed and Breakfast that also has a restaurant and brews some beer. We have not eaten there, but it sounds good.
