The DOW process is a chemical "pickeling" of the part, the first step is a hot immersion and the second is an immediate cold immersion sealing the chemical in the magnesiums pores.
FYI, we can apply the "GOODYEAR" or other lettering to most any brand of tire, there are examples of some BF Goodrich tires that we did also on the forum.
