Ford and holden are running old school motors. If it aint broke don't fix it.

Nissan, Mercedes and Volvo are all using DOHC variants of their own motors.

Mercedes is based on the M159 which is the motor in the C63.

Nissan is based on the V8 which is in the current Nissan Patrol among other vehicles.

Volvo is based on the V8 out of the XC90
