I just saw this thread a little while ago. You guys scare me. How many of you have actually come up against a situation where you wished you had your guns with you, or you did have it and you had to pull it out to defend yourself or your family?
Yes I'm Australian, yes I was in the Australian Army Cadet Corps at school and loved going to the range and shooting 303s, SLRs, Brens and Stens, and yes I grew up on the land and my dad had two shotguns and a rifle. I don't own a gun, and I have never come across a situation where I feared for my safety and would have felt better with a gun in hand. OK, some might say I should get out more; some might say "you live in sleepy old Adelaide", but you guys sound as if you're scared of your own shadows. I'm generalising a little there, but you do scare me.
