What a nice run it was today. Poorly attended, but those of us that did it, had a beautiful day for it. Cobra Keith, Ratti-Tat-Tat, Bob and his wife(don't know their last name?) with a nice Red/White stripe car, Paul Gillespie and his sweetie (looking for his iron butt award, from AWOL Danr, Me and Mesa Mike as my navigator, Pete Miller had the top down on his Viper, and Art (?) with his uber sweet Daytona coupe. Grumpy brought his Porche to the Shell station, but didn't do the run with us. The temperature was a bit nipply but everyone dressed for it and the sun was shining brightly. The food at Butcher's Hook was fine, service was fine and we were able to line up a few tables to accommodate us, as a group. Three other cars went with me on through Roosevelt to Globe to get back to the valley and the others back tracked their route. I totaled 215 miles, my car ran good, nothing broke, and I didn't climb any mountain sides. We saw a few LEOs but I don't think anyone was a revenue source, unless any of the back trackers contributed.
