Mine are 8" wide from Vintage wheels. I'll second what Sledge says about the Avons. Quality tires that stick and handle extremely well. Not sure how long they will last though. I'm running 24 lbs in front and 22 in the rear but am noticing the same wear issues so I may have to drop the pressure.

But these are great tires. And I will stick (pun) with them inspite of the $.
