It's my understanding Goodyear made 800/820/15 and 600/670-15 specifically for the 63-64 small block comp cars. The closest I've found to those sizes is what's commonly used at Goodwood Revival - Dunlop CR65 700L-15 28.7" and 600L-15 26.9".

Personal preference but I'm partial to the taller tires. We don't have to like it... but it's the way it was.
