I didn't weld it. It was spectra analysed, it's not cast iron, it's Spheroidal Graphite iron with 16% ductile. It was professionally welded with expensive pure nickel rods and then xrayed and stress tested. It's actually stronger then the original piece.
I'm may look silly but I'm not.
