I've been bending bending section 36" x 2" into 1" x 1" 90 degree sections, then stretching one side so as to follow the contour of the door and protect the edge. When I try to make the sharp radius in the front, the stretched part cracks. I take a picture and post. If it's just a flat piece, I wouldn't have any problems
