 Not an issue with the Coyote. True for solid lifter cam, you need ZDDP but roller cam motors don't. Ford knows what works and these come with 
synthetic from the get go. No worries on break in or down the road. As said, this is no longer the sixties. A friends Boss 302 race car wiped a cam at Watkins in less than 20 miles. He replaced the solid with a roller lifter and gained power as well as no issues with oiling.
