We will caravan from the Marin Cheese Factory outside Petaluma at 9:40 am. Join us if you can.
Directions to the Cheese Factory from the North:
• Proceed South on Highway 101
• Exit at E. Washington and head into downtown Petaluma, about 1 mile.
• Left turn onto Petaluma Blvd.
• Proceed about 1/2 mile
• Right turn onto “D” Street
• Proceed about 8 miles. “D” Street changes names to Red Hill Road then Petaluma-Point Reyes Rd
• Marin Cheese Factory is just beyond the Fire Station on the Right
Directions to the Cheese Factory from the South:
• Exit Highway 101 at Lucas Valley Road and proceed North about 15 miles, passing through Nicasio
• At “T” intersection with Petaluma-Point Reyes Rd., turn right and proceed for about 3 miles.
• Cheese Factory will be on your left.
Directions to Station House Cafe from Cheese Factory:
• Head southwest on Point Reyes-Petaluma Rd. toward Arroya Sausal.
• After 6.4 miles, turn right and go over the bridge to stay on Point Reyes-Petaluma Rd.
• After 3/1 miles, turn left onto CA-1 South.
• Go another 1/2 mile and turn left on Mesa Rd. This puts you behind the restaurant at their parking lot.
They will not reserve parking for us, but they said their parking lot is rarely busy. There is also street parking in front of the restaurant on Shoreline Hwy (Hwy 1).
I understand some of the group will go directly to the restaurant.
There was concern about the early time - the restaurant was not able to accommodate us at a later time, as they have another group booked.
