The engine offset to passenger side is around 25 to 30mm depending on drivetrain fitted.
Offsetting the drivetrain gives us 3 main advantages, which you guys have already touched on:
- More cockpit space for the driver, especially footbox width for drivers feet.
- Better cross-weight balance
- Reduces torque effect of engine on handing

Offsetting the drivetrain works best on RHD, you just can't get all the benefits with LHD.
