To be honest I hadn't measured but would like to think that is something Marty wouldn't have got wrong. But I will check.

And I did know Rob was another source of advice but hadn't taken that route yet and don't need to now.

Anyway after seeing the trimmer this morning fellas, it is all sorted as he does this installation job as part of the soft top trimming exercise - lol

He showed me the felt they use in the channel to set up the sliding panel and in fact helped me get an understanding of the side window frame set up he needs anyway. One frame fitted flush to the rear of the windscreen and he needs a gap.

So Marty now has that frame and knows how much needs to come off, so the process is now in train.
