BFG's are not the best tire out there, they do not handle very well. Jim,
No he is two years PAST replacing the BFGs! They get very hard with age. While they may look fine, one drive on fresh rubber will show the folly of this "extended tire life" idea.
Next to fuel ,tires are about the cheapest cost for the miles we do in these cars, why risk your car AND YOUR NECK to save a few bucks and "get a few more miles out of the old donuts"
