Pretty much any of the combinations available today has more power than you'll know what to do with. Given the original 427 Side Oiler was only rated at 425 HP even a mildly tuned naturally aspirated LS1 can make those sort of numbers. Engine technology has come a long way in 50 Years

With an LSA in there you'll be talking like Bill Cosby about the Super Snake Shelby built for him.
