There is a local car that has side pipes that do not work and has undercar exhaust....it is very quite but that is due to the muffler he uses. If my car already had side pipes I don't think I would go to the expense of taking them off and having the body holes filled ect. Good luck and let us know what you do.

You miss the point. Some of us are after the roadster look and sound. We don't want side pipes on our cars...
