Default Replaced just the bulbs with these bright boys

I used these in the original fixtures. They are quite bright.

A little on the pricey side but easy replacement and they let others know what I am doing. I left the original bulbs in the front and thus did not need to change the flasher unit. Red colored "bulbs".
