Default Sheared Alternator Bolt
I have a 351w/427 with March brackets for my alternator. The bolt on top through the bracket and alternator to the block sheared at the edge of the block. I have done a little checking and it seems this happens.
What is causing this and is there a cure. Is it just a bad bolt? Alternator mis-alignment? (Thought it was aligned properly before). Only 2500 miles on car and engine. Henry
