Dan,
I have a whole set of those wrenches, they are about 3" long right? Just the opposite for me though. I only use then when I absolutely have to. 10-12 on a valve cover won't work for me at all. Because there is not much leverage here, I always am afraid because of how much force it feels that I am applying. I try and finish off everything thing with a torque wrench. I just cant help myself
