If I keep listening to you Peter, ill eventually have the AC Cobra equivalent of a 4200lb Hellcat. With AC, electric lumbar seats, defroster, heated carbon fiber steering wheel, air ride suspension, pre and post mufflers, rabbit skin interior, navigation, Tesla park assist, and Fiji water radiator.
Or worse, have you paint your ERA "Desert Storm HumVee Camo Beige" like Patrick's car.

IMO, I'd forgo some of the other cool stuff and upgrade to the 428. There's no substitute for cubic inches and better resale value, if and when that ever happens. Or better yet, a center or even side oiler 427, if you could swing it.

Out of curiosity, if you leave your car outside Starbucks (), do you bring your steering wheel in with you? Generally, I'm not getting too far away from my Cobra, so the quick-release steering wheel seems superfluous to me. You could take the coil wire off or with my Kirkham, I have a battery and fuel pump shutoff. Not too many geniuses that can figure all those out very quickly. And if thieves want your car, they'll get it anyway. Save the money on the steering wheel for a 428!
