Our very own Jeff Classic does pretty much the same thing putting a stretched Cobra style body on a C4 chassis. Makes for a really slick looking car and from across the parking lot, and without a 90" Cobra next to it, will be called a Cobra by probably 98% of the population. Greatly improved leg room, comfort, and all the perks of the aforementioned 'Vette replica.
The stretched Cobra I can understand but the stretched 53 Vette seemed weird. Something not right with the front to me. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
