It's similar to the setup on my car (and the diagram here: Signal and brake light troubleshooting), but not the same. It's got 5 leads on the input side and 4 on the output side as opposed to the 3 input and 2 output in the car/ERA manual.

Granted two of the three extra wires are just grounds. Is this just a design change since the manual was written? Want to avoid ordering the wrong part. The existing relay in the car is only labeled "PL 500B".

But search around a little bit to find the "high performance" version that tend to cost about ten dollars more. They provide more amperage through to the back lights.
