It happens alot during shipping when we send TKO's to our customers.
For you, your shifter is mounted on the tailhousing. Directly in front of the shifter assembly, there is a silver anodized access cover with 4 black bolts holding it down. Remove the 4 bolts and the cover. Inside you will see 3 shift rails and 3 shift dogs mounted on the rails. 1 of those dogs is out of line with the other 2. Which ever one is out of line, using a flat tip screwdriver, pop it back in line so all 3 are lined up. Essentially what that does is throw the tranny in nuetral. Once you've done this, before you re-seal the cover, check and make sure you can shift through all of the gears. Then add a bead of RTV to the cover and re-install it. Problem solved. Like I said it is not uncommon for the shift fingers to get bound up during shipping. This does not mean you will have any issues once it is installed.
